About Us
The mission for Glorified Organizing is to inspire, motivate, and empower people to simplify their lives. As a result they enhance their quality of life and have more time to do the things that are most important. The company was started in February 2004.
I have always been passionate about organizing chaos and love working with people. For over 25 years I worked in the high-tech industry, designing hundreds of circuit boards. The designs utilized my creative talent to arrange thousands of components, bringing order and function to each unit. Combining my passion and talent, I now help others create order in their lives. I further share my expertise by teaching organizing classes through Mt. Diablo Adult Education.
I saw first-hand how stressful a cluttered environment can be to one's mental health and family as a whole. I grew up in a disorganized three-bedroom home in a family of seven. Relatives often lived with us making a total of 11 people in these small quarters.
I unknowingly started my organization skills at an early age. In grade school, I created detailed maps of the creeks around my house. In high school, my favorite part about writing term papers was to sit with too many index cards full of information and choose which would stay and which would not. In college, I became expert at distilling the reading and lecture information into a concise form. Where others saw complexity I was able to simplify.
I created my first closet design when I was in high school. Ten years later, I designed a major kitchen remodel in my home. Efficient storage and workflow were the priorities. Over the years, I have helped family and friends create order in their own homes and offices.
